Fit
When building is the right answer.
Custom development is the more expensive path. The first stage exists to confirm it is justified.
Build when
- No product does what you need, or products cannot fit your workflow, data or constraints.
- AI is part of a product or service you sell.
- The system depends on specialised information that only your organisation holds.
- You need control over behaviour, architecture or deployment that a subscription cannot offer.
Do not build when
- A mature product already does the job well enough. We will tell you.

What organisations ask before commissioning a build.
Can you quote a fixed price for an MVP?
Once discovery and architecture have defined the scope and the main technical risks have been tested, later stages can be quoted as defined packages. A fixed price before that point would be guesswork.
Who owns the code?
It depends on what is agreed. Rights in custom deliverables, pre-existing KyperX components and third-party software and models are set out separately in each engagement agreement.
Can a development team outside Australia work with you?
Yes, where that suits the project. Repositories, environments, review practices and responsibilities between teams are agreed at the start.
Which technologies do you use?
Whichever fit the requirements and your existing environment. Model, framework and hosting choices are made during architecture and documented so they can be revisited.
What if the prototype shows the approach will not work?
Then the question has been answered before a larger investment. The findings are documented, including whether a different approach is worth testing.
